Inauguration as Part of the Lodz Academic Partnership
The official inauguration of the academic year 2025/2026 was held in cooperation with universities associated with the Lodz Academic Partnership. The event was not only a symbolic start to the coming months of learning and development, but also a clear sign that strength lies in openness, cooperation and mutual respect.
The University of Lodz is active not only within the Lodz Academic Partnership but also as a member of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (KRASP) and the Conference of Rectors of Polish Universities (KRUP). We believe that openness, cooperation and mutual respect are the foundations of modern education.
Inaugurations at Individual Faculties – Closer to Students
There were also local inaugural ceremonies, which were held at all UniLodz faculties. These provided an opportunity to welcome new students, present the dean's teams and teaching Staff as well as to build the first relationships that will serve as the foundation for joint activities in the coming semesters.
International Students – Welcome at UniLodz!
The University of Lodz is a university that unites different cultures, languages and experiences. This academic year, 708 international students have joined our community, beginning their studies on full-time programmes or as part of exchange programmes.
