PLN 5 Million from the Voivodeship Marshal for UniLodz for a Project that Helps Vocational School Students Join University

The project "Zawodowy StartUp – liderzy jutra. Indywidualne ścieżki rozwoju uczniów szkół zawodowych na Uniwersytecie Łódzkim" [Vocational StartUp – Leaders of Tomorrow. Individual Development Paths for Vocational School Students at the University of Lodz] worth nearly PLN 5 million, prepared by our university, has received funding from the Marshal's Office as part of European funds to improve the lives of residents of Lodz and the region.

Support will be provided to 500 vocational school students from across the region. Each will receive personalised support from a tutor – an academic teacher who will help them discover their strengths, organise their ideas and plan their future studies.

The learning experience won't be the same for everyone. Each student will follow their own path of development. Students will participate in laboratory and workshop sessions, learn about professions from a practical perspective and simultaneously develop their English skills – also for future work and business.

It's a combination of knowledge, experience and a calm conversation about the future. Not everyone has an easy start. That's why right on time support is so important. In the Łódź region, such support is now available for both students and adults.
