The establishment of the Scientific Council continues the cooperation between the academic community and the Financial Ombudsman, which has been developing since 2017. The experts have been appointed for a three-year term, reinforcing the long-term nature of this initiative.
As Dr Michał Ziemiak emphasises, the Council aims to combine the Office’s practical experience with academic reflection, supporting the development of effective consumer protection tools and identifying future regulatory challenges.
