Share, Don't Waste – Community Fridge at the Student Campus

UniLodz is not just a university – it is above all a community focused on people and their well-being, recognizing important social problems, such as the problem of food waste and the simultaneous phenomenon of poor financial condition not only among students but also the entire society. Together we want to create a #HumanUniversity, not only recognizing but clearly responding to the needs of our society, which is why on 8 April 2025, Tuesday, the community fridge will officially be launched at the Student Campus.

Its location is not accidental – the UniLodz Student Campus is a part of the urban fabric, an open space where local residents are also participants in every aspect. The fridge is to serve the entire community of this area – we can all benefit!

This is a response to contemporary social challenges initiated by mgr Anna Felisiak – Head of the UniLodz Student Dormitories and the University of Lodz Coordinator for Accessibility and mgr Lidia Kolbus, together with the Chleba Naszego Association.
