The conference aligns with the mission of the University of Lodz, which is founded on dialogue-based cooperation, openness to the world and freedom of academic discussion. Its goal is to create a space for the exchange of knowledge and views in the field of accounting and to integrate the international scientific community.
The conference topics cover broadly understood accounting, including auditing, accounting education, financial analysis and reporting, management accounting, and social and environmental aspects of accounting.
The event programme includes an PhD International Colloquium, methodological workshops led by renowned European scientists, and keynote speakers from Poland and abroad. The conference will be highlighted by a Gala Dinner at the Biedermann’s Palace, and participants will also visit Transfer Multisort Elektronik company to learn about best practices in science-business cooperation.
TARC 2025 is a continuation of many years of international cooperation in the field of accounting, initiated by a Polish-Lithuanian initiative and now expanded to include partners from many countries in Europe and around the world.
The PhD Colloquium, aimed at doctoral students in accounting and related fields is an integral part of the TARC 2025 conference. It provides a unique opportunity to present and discuss research projects in an international academic environment, receive constructive feedback from experienced researchers and exchange ideas with doctoral candidates from various universities and countries.
As part of the colloquium a special workshop entitled "How to publish in a quality journal?", led by Prof. Timur Uman (Jönköping University, Sweden) has been planned. During the session, participants will learn about the practical aspects of the scientific publishing process and receive valuable tips on developing an academic career and effectively building a scientific record.
