CRONOS is a part of the European Social Survey (ESS), focuses on monitoring key challenges identified by the NextGenerationEU instrument. The hackathon participants were tasked with developing and effectively communicating the results of CRONOS data analyses to policymakers.
Our team, composed of Dr Jakub Adamski and Dr Remigiusz Żulicki, received an award for their project on the ability to recognise fake content online among residents of 11 European countries. The jury recognised not only the recommendations but also the relevance and timeliness of the issues addressed.
This is a great honour for our scientific community and confirmation that at the University of Lodz Faculty of Economics and Sociology we effectively combine analytical, social and digital competences.
