The meeting in Bishkek was an excellent opportunity to establish contacts with the national contact points of the Central Asian countries, present the main assumptions of the P109 project, and establish a schedule for the implementation of its first phase.

The second event – the BACAC-ISTC SAC conference – was an opportunity to exchange experiences and establish cooperation with representatives of regional countries, familiarise themselves with the epidemiological situation regarding zoonotic diseases and identify potential locations for future reconnaissance missions. The high scientific level of the conference also contributed to the development of knowledge and the exchange of ideas among its participants.
