Writefull package facilitates writing scientific texts in English and includes:

Writefull for Word – checks your academic text written in Word, corrects language errors in terms of grammar, lexis, punctuation, spelling and language style. It also offers a database of phrases taken from authentic scientific texts.

Writefull for Overleaf – allows you to use the Overleaf add-on, which works directly as you type in the Overleaf LaTeX editor

Writefull Revise – checks your document for grammar, spelling, vocabulary, punctuation, and style. The users can upload a document to Revise program in .docx, .doc or .tex formats, then view language corrections and download a revised version of the text containing all the accepted suggestions.

Writefull Cite – checks your academic text for completeness of source citations, highlighting sentences that according to the Writefull Cite should contain footnotes. Writefull Cite is a useful tool that ensures the completeness of source citations and reduces the risk of editors rejecting a proposal or article due to incomplete footnotes. It also reduces the risk of (unintentional) plagiarism.
During the workshop the following issues will be touched upon:
- how to install plug-ins on personal computers,
- how to write and check English texts in MS Word and Overleaf,
- how to check for correct citations in a scientific paper using the Writefull tool.
