The Department of Translation and Linguistics conducts research and teaching activities focused on two research areas: (1) Translation theory and criticism; (2) Linguistics. In the first area, we concentrate on various types of translation (e.g., literary, specialized, audiovisual). In the second, we focus on broadly understood linguistics (e.g., general, cognitive, historical linguistics).
