• at least two UNIC university teachers from two different universities design the learning activity collaboratively;
• a predominant share of virtual activities;
• students of all participating partner teachers are involved in collaborative virtual international learning activities;
• intended integration of the activities in the formal curricula of the participating universities, ECTS recognition for the activities through each participating university;
• promotion and dissemination activities are included in the general activity plan.

 

Virtual Exchange

Virtual Exchange is a form of virtual mobility characterised by particularly intensive interaction between teachers and students involving at least classrooms in two countries. They follow joint learning objectives in international groups by communicating via the internet. Virtual exchange is based on teacher collaboration, where educators jointly design and implement educational activities that are part of regular study programmes.

Challenge-based-learning (CBL)

It refers to education based on actual problems that consists in applying theoretical knowledge to develop solutions for real-world challenges through collaboration in diverse, interdisciplinary teams.

Applications may be submitted from 5 March 2026 on a rolling basis until the maximum limit of five applications has been reached. Each application will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and a decision will be issued within up to four weeks from the date of submission.
