  1. I carry out and participate in scientific research and development work,
  2. I disseminate research results by publishing them,
  3. I actively participate in conferences and scientific seminars,
  4. I train and supervise the development of scientific staff,
  5. I improve my own professional qualifications,
  6. I teach full-time and part-time courses (a lecture on Organisational and Management Psychology, a specialisation lecture on Human Resource Management, an exercise on Managing Professional Development of Employees, a lecture for Erasmus+ Work and Organisational Psychology students, a master's seminar),
  7. I conduct examinations and final course tests, including diploma examinations,
  8. I conduct and review diploma theses,
  9. I take care of the high quality of education and compliance of the didactic work with the principles of the internal system of education quality assurance,

Additional functions: member of the Council of the Doctoral School of Social Sciences at the University of Łódź, Member of the Recruitment Committee for the Doctoral School of Social Sciences, Member of the Degree Committee at the Faculty of Education Sciences at the University of Łódź, board member of the Polish Association of Organisational Psychology.

Bio

I am a habilitated PhD, a university professor at the Institute of Psychology, University of Lodz, and a graduate of the Mini MBA Postgraduate Program. From 2016 to 2020, I served as the Deputy Director of Science at the Institute of Psychology, University of Lodz.

I specialise in issues of work and organisational psychology. I am the author of more than 80 scientific publications in high-scoring journals (including three monographs). My book entitled "The phenomenon of multi-work. Psychological determinants and consequences" (2014) published by the University of Lodz Publishing House was nominated for the prestigious Theophrast Prize for the best psychology book.

I educate students in the field of psychology. I give lectures, exercises and master's seminars, also lectures for students of the ERASMUS+ programme.

I am a member of a team led by Prof. Dorota Merecz-Kot, PhD (UŁ), in the NCN Chanse Call project (2022–2025) entitled New Challenges for Occupational Health and Safety in Times of Transformation in Europe: The Role of Digital Labour Platforms (GIG-OSH UMO-2021/03/Y/HS6/00267); in the Interdisciplinary Research Grant entitled Selected Factors of the Entrepreneurial Process among Individuals Reopening a Business (12/IGB/2024, 2024–2026, Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial Policy, Faculty of Management, University of Łódź, Prof. Jarosław Ropęga, PhD); and in the Interdisciplinary Research Grant entitled The Mediating Role of Humanizing Practices between the Use of AI at Work and Employees’ Occupational Well-being (9/IGB/2025, 2025–2026, Department of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Management, University of Łódź, Dr Anna Michałkiewicz).

  1. Subjective determinants of employee functioning in the work environment (including psychological gender).
  2. Situational determinants of employee functioning in the work environment (including organisational climate).
  3. Human Resource Management - theory and practice.
  4. Multiple job holding - determinants and consequences.
  5. Multiple job holding - an intra-group analysis of the phenomenon.
  6. Psychological tools in personnel management.
  7. Physical attractiveness of the workplace and job satisfaction.
  8. Attitudes towards work and behaviour at work.
  9. Determinants and consequences of the work environment of different professional groups (e.g. teachers, IT workers).
  10. Psychological capital in the workplace.
