SCIENTIFIC AND SOCIAL MEDIA PROFILES

POSITION DESCRIPTION

I am the Head of the Centre, I directly supervise the projects carried out by the members of my team. As a team we set strategic directions of the university's communication; manage internal and external communication of the University of Lodz and support management communication. We help disseminating and popularising information pertaining to science and expert knowledge of our scientists, present their successes and promote research results. We support the university's social responsibility and pro-environmental activities. We are responsible for the graphic identity, production of videos and much more! I am also in the working team of the European University of Post-Industrial Cities (UNIC).


BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

I have been the Head of the Centre since 2016. I have gained practical professional experience while working for public institutions and enterprises. I have been involved in building marketing and image strategies, designing services and products, organising and implementing media relations activities in companies from various industries. I have been associated with the University of Lodz for many years. From 2011 I worked at the Faculty of Law and Administration, I also studied at this Faculty. Additionally, I graduated from the Faculty of Philology. I completed my education in the field of communications with Master's-level studies at Clark University. I am also a graduate of postgraduate studies in the area of service design at the School of Forms.

I am a member of the Association of PR and Promotion of Polish Universities "PRom" (since October 2022 I have held the function of Vice President of the association) and a member of the European Association of Communication Professionals in Higher Education "EUPRIO", where I operate as a representative of the University of Lodz (since August 2022 in the steering committee, as a National Deputy Representative).

TEAM AWARDS AND PRIZES

2017

  • Award in the Design category in the competition of Klub Twórców Reklamy (KTR) [the Advertising Creators Club] for the new visual identification of the University of Lodz, created in cooperation with the Ortografika Design Studio
  • PROMYK Award for the "University Diversity" campaign, which we have organized together with the UL International Relations Office
  • Third place in The Euprio Awards competition for the best university marketing idea for the "University Diversity" campaign. The prize was awarded by the European jury of the Association "European Universities Public Relations and Information Officers” (EUPRIO)

2018

  • Second place in the Genius Universitatis competition in the category of Event Supporting Recruitment for the recruitment puzzle room „Bez śladu” [Without a Trace]

2019

  • Tomasz Trzciński Distinction for exemplary information policy, awarded by the editors of the Nauka w Polsce (PAP) [Science in Poland] service, as part of the 15th edition of the Popularyzator Nauki [Science Populariser] competition.
  • PROMYK Award (1st place in the New Media category) for the outdoor game Wytrop Nas (Track Us Down!)

2020

  • 3rd place in the Genius Universitatis competition in the Event category for the recruitment version of the outdoor game Wytrop Nas [Track Us Down!]
  • 3rd place in the Genius Universitatis competition in the Gadget category for a cap with the inscription GAŁGAN [RASCAL]
