Scope of responsibilities for the position of Associate Professor:
conducting scientific research in the field of ethnology and cultural anthropology (qualitative research, including ethnographic fieldwork carried out, among others, in welfare and social support institutions as well as public institutions; qualitative ethnographic research in vivo and in situ among groups experiencing hardship and crisis, such as homelessness, illness, disability, and mental health crises; research on women and gender; studies on human–non-human interactions; desk research based on existing data, including archival sources, as well as comparative research within the thematic scope of the F.E.R.-Eurethno group);
publishing research findings in academic outlets;
presenting research results at national and international academic conferences;
cooperating with other universities, research institutes, scholarly societies, and other domestic and international institutions, as well as conducting research and applied projects with partners, including those outside academia;
preparing diagnoses, reports, etc., based on individual and team research, including commissioned studies and applied projects focused on addressing social problems and supporting related solutions;
teaching courses in ethnology and cultural anthropology (BA and MA levels), and supervising students within master’s and doctoral seminars.
