Researcher and lecturer in the Department of English Studies in Drama, Theatre and Film.

Main research areas: Shakespearea studies, adaptation of literature, theory of adaptation, feminism and gender and queer studies, posthumanism, new materialism.

Teaching areas: British literature, literature and adaptation, BA and MA seminars, academic writing.

Coordinator of writing and text analysis, and writing and argumentation.

BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

I work at the Department of English Studies in Drama, Theatre and Film, and I specialise in Renaissance drama, especially Shakespeare, and the relationships between literature and contemporary popular media in the context of cultural studies. My main areas of interest include feminism, gender studies and queer theory, as well as posthumanism, cultural materialism and new materialism. I use those theoretical contexts to research the intersections of literature and media. I am the author of Screening Gender in Shakespeare’s Comedies (Rowman & Littlefield, 2019).
