Magdalena Lesiak, PhD, assistant professor at the Department of Insurance, Institute of Finance, Faculty of Economics and Sociology, University of Łódź. Graduate of economics, doctor of social sciences in the discipline of economics and finance. Her scientific and research interests include the capital market, financial services, fraud analysis, data science, programming, new technologies, and the application of quantitative methods in economic research. She conducts classes in subjects such as: financial markets, insurance, ethics and counteracting crimes on the capital market. In her analytical and research work, she uses issues from the field of classical economic theory, behavioral economics, law, ethics, as well as statistical and econometric methods.
