Senior Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for protecting the organization’s information systems against cyber threats. The person in this role monitors, analyzes, and responds to security incidents, as well as implements and maintains security systems, policies, and procedures.
Scope of responsibilities:
Monitoring and threat analysis:
- Continuous monitoring of IT systems to detect potential threats.
- Analysis of logs and data from security systems.
- Identification and assessment of new threats and vulnerabilities.
Incident response:
- Rapid response to security incidents.
- Conducting investigations into security breaches.
- Cooperation with IT teams to minimize the impact of incidents.
Implementation of security policies and procedures:
- Development and updating of security policies and procedures.
- Training employees on cybersecurity best practices.
- Conducting security audits and penetration tests.
Additional duties:
Compliance with established work regulations and working hours.
Compliance with state and professional confidentiality requirements.
Compliance with occupational health and safety and fire protection regulations.
Continuous professional development and skills enhancement.
Safeguarding professional qualifications.
Securing entrusted premises after the completion of work.
Performing other tasks assigned by a supervisor.
