BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

I am a graduate in Sociology, University of Lodz, Department of Sociology of Art. Since 2008, I have been working to popularise knowledge about Lodz and promote culture, both professionally and through activity in non-governmental organisations. During this time, I have completed dozens of projects, consisting of dozens, if not hundreds, of educational, promotional and popularising activities.

Since 2009, I have been a co-founder of the Association of Municipal Initiatives Topografie in Łódź (Łódzkie Stowarzyszenie Inicjatyw Miejskich Topografie).

In the years 2009-2017 I worked in the Museum of the City of Łódź, where I managed the unique "Dętka" Canal Museum.

From 2017 to 2022 I was a member of the fantastic team of the Marek Edelman Dialogue Center in Łódź.

Since October 2022, in addition to popularising Lodz culture, thanks to my work in the Promotion Centre of the University of Lodz, I have been also involved in promotion of Lodz science. Fortunately, the worlds of culture and science increasingly interpenetrate each other for the benefit of the two areas of life.

INTERESTS

I am fascinated by the world as a whole, and more specifically by the processes that govern it. I am able to grasp those historical, social or political ones, whereas the physical and chemical ones remain my fascination.

Besides, I love Lodz for its extraordinary history and inspiring architecture, I am an amateur photographer, but my greatest passion is aviation.
