The Senior Specialist in the Employee Affairs Center is responsible for handling personnel matters for employees employed at: the IT Center, the Academic Campus.
I. Scope of duties:
1. Handling matters related to hiring, promoting, and dismissing employees.
- checking and completing applications submitted to the department by heads of basic organizational units and other organizational units regarding hiring, promoting, or dismissing employees,
- preparing and issuing contracts, terminations, and notices of any changes arising from the employees' employment relationship.
2. Operation of the HR and payroll system:
- creating an employee record - entering personal data, employment data,
- entering initial medical examinations, updating periodic examinations, entering examinations after illness lasting longer than 30 days,
- creating a work card, entering the schedule and parameters according to the employee's entitlement,
- updating the work card: entering vacation leaves, maternity leaves, parental leaves, unpaid leaves, special leaves, medical leaves.
3. Handling matters related to employees acquiring entitlements to jubilee awards and seniority bonuses, preparing applications for the payment of jubilee awards and seniority bonuses.
4. Preparing lists of employees entitled to additional annual remuneration, so-called "thirteenth salary," and managing the HR-payroll system in the scope necessary for the payment of the "thirteenth salary."
5. Overseeing the validity of employees' periodic medical examinations, the necessity of issuing fitness-for-work certificates after illness lasting longer than 30 days, handling matters related to granting employees medical leaves.
6. Creating and maintaining personnel files:
- sorting documents for personnel files,
- preparing personnel files for transfer to the archive.
7. Checking employee attendance lists.
8. Employee service - the PPE pension program and preparing notifications for PPE participants who in a given calendar year can make withdrawals of funds accumulated within the framework of the program
