Some of the runners took part in the on-site races held in Kraków and Warsaw, while the remaining participants competed in the virtual format, completing a four-kilometre route on sections of their own choosing and recording their results via a mobile application.
Representatives of the University of Lodz were also among the runners. A total of ten five-person relay teams, comprising 34 women and 16 men, represented our university. Some members of the University of Lodz Running Section decided to complete the course together during Thursday's training session, combining physical activity with support for a worthy cause.
As in previous years, it was possible to assemble a team bringing together the fastest runners among the University of Lodz employees. The Charty UŁ relay team once again confirmed its excellent form, achieving a total time of 01:20:27 and finishing in 11th place in the overall standings among 5,365 teams from across Poland.

Poland Business Run is not only a sporting competition but, above all, an initiative of considerable social importance. Funds raised during this year's edition will help more than 100 people from across Poland who are living with physical disabilities, have undergone amputations or are recovering from mastectomy procedures.
