The event will be an opportunity to meet the artists participating in the project in person: Joanna Zakrzewska, Ewa Tomporek-Fukuoka, Joanna Rajch and Edyta Topczewska-Nowicka. During the closing event, there will be an opportunity to discuss their inspirations, spiritual and aesthetic pursuits, and how Japanese culture resonates with their personal sensibilities.
The exhibition exemplifies long-standing relationships, artistic friendships and dialogue based on mutual respect for diverse traditions. It is a meeting of people and ideas that – like the sounds of the yakumo-goto instrument – create a harmonious, yet polyphonic, composition.
Free admission – everyone interested in Japanese art, culture and meetings with extraordinary creators is welcome!
