Now, thanks to the modern Career Development Portal, finding an interesting job offer, internship or career development event has become even easier. In addition to signing up for specific events organised by the university, the UL students gain access to a database of hundreds of current recruitment processes, including job or internship advertisements. Simply find an interesting offer, create your CV and apply with one click. To enter the system, simply log in via the university's CAS system.
The labour market is constantly changing and this fact points to the need to create tools and places where the student community can easily find interesting initiatives and recruitment processes that match their predispositions and interests.
In order to facilitate access to the wide range of offers from both the University of Lodz Career Office and employers, as well as to deepen the habit of developing one's competences, the portal has a very intuitive form thanks to which it takes only a few moments to search for an interesting initiative. Professor Agnieszka Kurczewska, the UL Vice-Rector for External Relations, emphasises:
The creation of novel and innovative solutions has long been a guiding principle of the activities undertaken by the University of Lodz, and the fact of daily contact with modern, digital tools explicitly confirms and justifies the decision to create the Career Development Portal. We strive to make sure that the student community of the University of Lodz has the opportunity to comfortably use functional, progressive solutions, also in relation to digital tools. Regardless of the type of a job, internship or other career path, the new Career Development Portal will make finding and applying for it faster and easier than before.
From now on, you can easily check employer profiles, recruitment processes descriptions and rules, as well as upload your CV and apply with a single click.
