The Department of Linguistics and Communication is responsible for teaching classes in practical and descriptive grammar, as well as a range of courses on the theory of linguistics. Our research covers a broad spectrum of topics including philosophy of language, argumentation theory, multimodal communication, socio-linguistics, varieties of English, and cognitive linguistics.
