About us
The Department of Spatial Econometrics deals with spatial and cross-sectional analyses using the tools of spatial statistics and spatial econometrics.
Application areas include the labour market, public health, migration processes, and consumer demand.
Recently, the Department's staff have been involved in the project Forecasting Labour Demand, which will result in the creation of multidimensional forecasts of the working population across economic sectors, occupations and specialisations, and regions in the 2050 perspective.
The Department's staff are also valued university lecturers - they have achieved the highest ratings in student opinion for many years.
