The IT Section was established to coordinate and manage the IT infrastructure of the Faculty, including the local computer network and computer laboratories. The unit is responsible for providing IT technical support to all faculty units. The basic tasks of the Computer Science Section include ensuring secure access to the Internet and the Comprehensive Information System of the University of Lodz, including Microsoft Office 365 and the Employee Portal. The Computer Science Section administers computer laboratories located in buildings T, E and F. Its tasks include maintaining computers, installing new software, and updating and reconfiguring current software. In addition to advising and reviewing purchases, the Section's tasks also include technical support for all faculty employees.
