About us

The tasks of the Rectors Office include: 

  1. preparation and legal, editorial consultation of internal acts of the University of Lodz; 

  2. preparing powers of attorney and authorizations; 

  3. running and organizing the work of the secretariats of the Rector, Vice Rectors, Chancellors, Chief Financial Officer and the Rector's Representative for Student Affairs; 

  4. providing organizational and legislative services for working meetings of the UL Senate; 

  5. organization of ceremonial meetings of the UL Senate; 

  6. organization of matters related to the awarding of honorary doctorates and renewals of doctorates; 

  7. organization of rector's lectures; 

  8. administrative service of disciplinary matters of academic teachers, students and doctoral students;

  9. fostering the Rector's Board in broad communication – internal (Rector's Board - faculty authorities) and external, as well as coordinating the Board communication on social media;

  10. coordination of awarding the Honorary Patronages of the Rector of the University of Lodz.
