About us
The Institute of Finance is one of the largest institutes operating at the Faculty of Economics and Sociology, both in terms of the number of departments that form it and the number of employees, as well as students studying in the fields under the Institute's care.
Contemporary challenges of finance in areas such as the state's financial policy, stability of the financial system, consumer protection in the financial services market, cybersecurity, the use of modern technology, including artificial intelligence, sustainable finance, ethical aspects in finance, or problems of the functioning of the public sector, influence the directions of development of financial science. This is reflected in the scientific development of IF employees, who conduct research in the area of capital and insurance markets, banking and public finance. The results of scientific research (conducted both within the framework of grants financed by external institutions and own projects) are numerous publications and scientific advancement.

Finance and accounting,
Banking and digital finance,
