SESSIONS

This session will delve into a wide range of topics related to microbiology in diverse contexts — general, clinical, veterinary, industrial, and environmental. In the biotechnology segment, participants will explore advancements across various branches, including genetic engineering, from fundamental research to practical applications. The immunology section will focus on the immune system’s mechanisms, its interactions with microorganisms, and its applications in diagnostics, therapy, and epidemiology. Additionally, infectious immunology, immunotherapy, and innovative vaccine research strategies will be discussed.

The Scientific Committee:

  • Sylwia Różalska, PhD, Assoc. Prof.

  • Magdalena Kowalewicz-Kulbat, PhD, Asst. Prof.

  • Wiktoria Wierzbińska, MSc

  • Zuzanna Miodek, MSc

  • Jarema Wódka, MSc

  • Magdalena Jurczak, MSc

This session will explore the fundamental mechanisms that drive the functioning of cells, organelles, and biomolecules. Participants will also dive into the molecular underpinnings of disease development, discussing their mechanisms, diagnostic innovations, and emerging treatments. With its interdisciplinary focus, this session welcomes contributions from researchers across molecular biology, biochemistry, biophysics, genetics, neurobiology, and cytophysiology.
