About us
The Faculty of Management is one of the largest faculties at the University of Łódź. The research conducted by the Faculty of Management staff focuses on the issue defined by the term "Management in a knowledge-based economy." This choice of specialization is driven by the nature of contemporary business, shaped by the growing role of information and knowledge, i.e., intellectual capital. The research activities of the Faculty members are mainly directed towards issues such as: models and systems for managing organizations, strategic and marketing management, corporate social responsibility, entrepreneurship, and innovation. The scientific and research issues at the Faculty are also related to financial management, accounting, and the adaptation of accounting methods to the needs of organizational management.
Within the discipline of management and quality sciences, the Faculty members represent the following subdisciplines:

In line with the idea of lifelong learning, the Faculty offers not only Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs but also postgraduate studies, and successfully implements training programs aimed at developing business competencies in management, finance, and accounting, including: the Polish-American MBA Program, the "Project Management" management program, the "Mini MBA" management program, and specialized workshops. We also offer free webinars led by our staff, alumni, and collaborating business practitioners.
