About us

The staff of the Administration and Communication Unit (DAiK) analyze the needs of internal and external stakeholder groups of the Faculty and are partially responsible for their servicing.

Unit structure:

  • Section for facility management
  • Section for promotion and external relations
  • Centre for Teaching Development

The scope of activities of the Administration and Communication Unit includes mainly:

A. In the area of management of the Faculty building:

  1. Organizing and coordinating administrative and economic work in the Faculty of Management building and its surrounding area, to ensure the proper execution of the Faculty's educational and scientific-research activities.
  2. Ensuring the proper functioning of equipment in general-use rooms and teaching halls, including technical support in lecture halls within the Faculty of Management building.
  3. Identifying needs and supervising construction work, renovations, and adaptation activities.
  4. Supervising the activities of tenants in the Faculty of Management building.
  5. Managing and keeping the register of the Faculty of Management’s assets. 
  6. Assisting with equipment during classes, conducting training sessions on equipment handling. Renting portable multimedia equipment for teaching purposes, conferences, and scientific meetings.
  7. Providing support for Faculty Council meetings, doctoral and habilitation defenses, and recording sessions.
  8. Handling the Faculty of Management's correspondence.
  9. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at the Faculty of Management (including developing rules and regulations).

B. In the area of Faculty promotion:

  1. Organizing selected events of the Faculty of Management, including technical support for those events
  2. Coordinating communication and promotional activities of the Faculty of Management.
  3. Preparing and overseeing promotional items for the Faculty of Management.
  4. Providing substantive support for the Faculty of Management’s websites, and profiles on platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Flickr, Instagram, TikTok.
  5. Establishing and maintaining relationships with partners from the Faculty of Management's socio-economic environment.
  6. Building relationships with alumni of the Faculty of Management.
  7. Conducting informational and promotional activities regarding the Faculty of Management’s educational offer.
  8. Promoting science, collaborating with the media, and managing the Expert Team portal.
  9. Supervising and coordinating events held at the Faculty of Management.

C. In the area of internal communication:

  1. Organizing events for the Faculty employees.
  2. Preparing and sending newsletters to the Faculty employees.
  3. Support for the onboarding process of new employees of the Faculty of Management.
  4. Substantive care of the content posted on the Intranet channel.
  5. Promoting organizational culture (supporting initiatives aimed at building a positive atmosphere at work).

D.  In the area of teaching development:

  1. Organizing the process of improving the teaching skills of the Faculty’s staff.
  2. Supporting the use of new forms and methods of education in the teaching process.
  3. Ensuring additional developmental opportunities for students and candidates for studies.
