Tematyka badań

Głównym celem moich badań jest poznanie różnorodności biologicznej płytkowodnych skorupiaków, głównie z rządu Tanaidacea, a od niedawna również Cumacea. Interesują mnie zagadnienia taksonomiczne (taksonomia tradycyjna oraz w połączeniu z metodami numerycznymi i morfometrią geometryczną), aspekty ekologiczne (preferencje siedliskowe, zależności z czynnikami fizyko-chemicznymi), powiązania filogenetyczne i zagadnienia biogeograficzne - w tym rozmieszczenie związane z działalnością antropogeniczną.
