Action 1: Bonus for quality!
Incentive scholarships for best-performing doctoral students
32 scholarships are planned as an increase in the doctoral scholarship paid by the University of Lodz. The scholarships will be awarded through a competition of the best performing doctoral students, both Polish citizens who pursue their doctoral dissertation while cooperating on an international level, and internationals studying at the UL Doctoral Schools.
Smarter, Faster, Better!
Call for applications (no. 2) of 17/11/2025
Competition no. 2 in the 2025/2026 academic year provides the financing of 16 incentive scholarships in the amount of PLN 2,000.00 net per month for a period of 12 months.
The incentive scholarship will be paid out for 12 months between 1 October and 30 September of the academic year in question.
Among other requirements, you can take part if you are already after submitting your Individual Research Plan (IPB) and receiving the acceptance signature from the Director of your Doctoral School on it.
Doctoral students who received an incentive scholarship in the first edition of the NAWA STER competition are not eligible to apply in the second edition of the competition.
Application open between 17 November 2025 and 03 December 2025 (11.30 pm)

Incentive scholarships in the amount of PLN 2,000.00 net per month for a period of 12 months will be disbursed between 1 October and 30 September of the specified academic year.
