Dissertation: Polychaete Fauna of the Northwest Portuguese Continental Shelf: ecology, diversity and distribution.

2010 - 2013: Bachelor degree in Natural Science at the Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro (Italy)

Bachelor thesis: Taxonomic composition and distribution of the sponge community in the Apulian Coralligenous.

ZAINTERESOWANIA

My main interests are transmembrane proteins related to osmoregulation and thermal stress, above all in polychaete annelids. In research, I love to combine different approaches (from experimental, to microscopy and molecular one) to better understand the adaptive mechanisms species display.

2023-03 | Recipient of the grant IDUB 2022 for young researchers. Project title "Comparative and integrative approach to assess the osmoregularion of two Ponto-Caspian invasive species focusing on two transmembrane proteins".
