POSITION DESCRIPTION

Teaching:

Academic teacher conducting lectures, seminars, conversation classes, specialist workshops in full-time and part-time studies: first and second degree in the following fields:

  • Biotechnology
  • Cosmetic chemistry (Faculty of Chemistry, University of Lodz)

Supervisor and reviewer of bachelor's and master's theses.


Scientific interests:

  • Testing the antioxidant properties of extracts from plants with medical and cosmetic potential.
  • Searching for new sources of phytochemicals of medical and cosmetic importance.
  • Physiological, biochemical and molecular mechanisms of plant resistance to abiotic environmental stresses.
  • The influence of abiotic factors on the growth and development of plants. Regulation of programmed cell death (PCD) under environmental stress.
  • The role of phytomelatonin in protection against PCD. The use of quercetin nanoparticles as a natural biostimulant.
  • Conducting sterile in vitro cultures of tobacco BY-2 cell line .

  • Award of the 4-COT foundation supporting the development of Polish science for the project entitled "Development of a Sandwich Enzyme Immunoassay for quantification of rye allergen in the baker's workplace"
