Science Inspires – integrujemy zagranicznych badaczy na UŁ!

International Hub of the University of Lodz, for the first time at the University of Lodz, will conduct a series of „Science Inspires” meetings integrating international researchers and academics of Polish origin. The idea is to create an even more comfortable environment for science to thrive, but also for researchers to simply feel as comfortable as possible at the University. The first meeting is scheduled for 4 October.

Science Inspires, a series of iHub UŁ, is designed to build a comfortable working environment – between researchers representing different scientific disciplines and often different cultures. The undertaken activities are in line with the strategic objectives from the area of development of the University, which cares for the continuous development of the academic community and enables the best use of its potential.

Science Inspires meetings are to integrate different groups of UL employees and build an effective, creative, international research environment. The initiative includes a series of meetings in the academic year 2021/2022, which will be attended by: researchers employed under IDUB competition, young researchers, experienced researchers and doctoral students – explains prof. Łukasz Bogucki, Vice-Rector of the University of Lodz for International Relations.

University of Lodz consistently focuses on increasing internationalisation of the University. It concerns both students and researchers. In the academic year 2021/2022, only as part of IDUB competition, more than 40 researchers from all over the world will start working at the University of Lodz. This is the largest international “scientific transfer” in the history of the University.
