Sukcesy UŁ w Akademickich Mistrzostwach Polski w judo

The last two weekends were very busy, but also full of success for the judokas from the Academic Sports Club from Lodz. Patrycja Skupień (weight category 52 kg) ended up in the first place and obtained the title of the Academic Polish Champion in the general classification. Weronika Styrcz (weight category 48 kg) won the silver medal, while Tomasz Drzewiecki won the bronze medal in the weight category 100 kg. Moreover, the University of Lodz won the team silver medal in the University classification. Congratulations!

Polish Academic Judo Championships were held in Piła. 

In Sosnowiec, on the other hand, the International Open Judo Tournament for Children and Youngsters took place, in which about 400 athletes from Polish clubs, as well as from the Czech Republic and Ukraine took part.

The young athletes, admiring the success of their older colleagues, also returned with a bag of medals.
Nadia Przytulska won the gold medal in the youth category winning all fights ahead of time, while Mikołaj Gorzarda won the gold medal in the older children category. Silver medals were won by: Antoni Rzepecki in the youngsters category, Maciej Sarwiński in the older children category and Franciszek Sarwiński in the younger children category. Wojciech Sarwiński won the bronze medal in the youngsters category.
 

The judokas are coached by Anna Jagiełło and Leszek Piąstka from the University of Lodz.
