Attention, explosion! – i.e., a poster of the 12th edition of the Kamera Akcja Festival
The 12th edition of the Kamera Akcja Festival will be „explosive”. This is evidence by the poster by Arkadiusz Jaworek, a graphic designer who has been creating the festival identification for the ninth year. Explosive literally, as in its centre there is a brain-bomb. It is not without significance, as – Malwina Czajka, director of FKA says – a lot has happened in the last dozen or so months. We are all tired of pandemic reality and due to the excess of fake news and omnipresent uncertainty the brain is simply exploding. The exuberant nature of the poster is related to the abundance of attractions that are awaiting each participant: beginning with a number of fantastic and often provocative films, electrifying meetings with guests ending with a real treat for those who love walks – as part of the 12th FKA, a tour of the film Lodz will be held. This diversity of attractions is also contained in the font used by Arkadiusz Jaworek, and its colour – electrifying blue – which emphasizes the uniqueness of the Kamera Akcja Festival even more.
One pass, eight days of unique emotions
Last year and a half can be hardly called peaceful. In order to meet all the expectations, participation in the 12th edition of the Kamera Akcja Festival will be possible thanks to the TWO in ONE pass. An excellent price – PLN 50 – is a tribute to all those who want to break away from difficult reality and immerse themselves in film spaces, both in a stationary mode in Lodz and online – on the Think Film platform. During the eight days, as always, there will be plenty of film-related attractions, which will take place thanks to cooperation with, among others, the Museum of Cinematography and the Człowiek w Zagrożeniu Media Festival.
The price of the pass will also please film scholars and holders of the UL Alumni Card or Fiszka as they will be able to sit in the cinema armchair (and/or at home) for only PLN40. There are also discounts for the students of film-related studies.
The Kamera Akcja Festival cannot take place without the presence of bloggers and vloggers dealing with film culture. For them as well as for the media representatives admission to all the festival events will be free.
The 12th Kamera Akcja Film Critics Festival in Lodz will take place from 30.09 to 07.10.2021 in Lodz and online on the Think Film platform. The event will be organised thanks to co-financing from the budget of the City of Lodz. The event is also co-financed by the Minister of Culture, National Heritage and Sport from the Culture Promotion Fund, the Polish Film Institute and the University of Lodz – patron of the Festival.
