POSITION DESCRIPTION
Job Description
Research Responsibilities: 1) conducting scientific activities, including: a) scientific research: -basic research, understood as empirical or theoretical work aimed primarily at acquiring new knowledge about the fundamentals of phenomena and observable facts without aiming at direct commercial application, -application research, understood as work aimed at acquiring new knowledge and skills, aimed at developing new products, processes or services or introducing significant improvements to them; (b) development work, being activities involving the acquisition, combination, formation and use of currently available knowledge and skills, including in the field of information technology tools or software, for production planning and the design and development of changed, improved or new products, processes or services, excluding activities involving routine and periodic changes made to them, even if such changes are improvement.
Organizational and other duties
1) Participation in the work of committees that carry out the recruitment of students and doctoral school;
2) Participation in work related to confirmation of learning outcomes;
3) Participation in proceedings for the conferment of the degree of doctor, the degree of doctor habilitated and the title of professor, including acting as promoter, assistant promoter, reviewer in proceedings for the conferment of the degree of doctor, the degree of doctor habilitated or the title of professor, and participation in the work of the committee conducting doctoral examinations and the work of the habilitation committee;
4) Participation in other work and implemented programs related to the development of the research and teaching level of the University, ordered by the Rector, Vice-Rector or Dean;
5) Participation in the organizational work of the University related to the teaching process and scientific activities;
6) Constant improvement of professional competence;
7) Observance of work order (punctuality, full use of class and consultation time, proper maintenance of teaching and scientific documentation);
8) Knowledge of the applicable common and internal regulations on matters within the scope of the employee's duties, in particular the UG Statute, the Academic Regulations and the Code of Ethics for Academic Teachers;
9) Taking care of the property of the University and bearing material responsibility for the property entrusted to the employee;
10) Observance of health and safety and fire protection regulations in force at the University;
11) Observing professional secrecy during the employment relationship, as well as after its termination;
12) Maintain the secrecy of information on personal data of employees and students, in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection (even after termination of employment);
13) Taking care of the image and good name of the University;
carrying out work orders issued by the immediate supervisor related to professional work and official tasks.
