Zakończenie szkoły w British International School of the University of Lodz

Saying goodbye to graduates is always difficult. Especially when they are such great students. This year, for the first time there was a graduation ceremony for the graduates of the International Baccalaureate – IB Diploma Programme. The first one, because in previous years, the school offered British Baccalaureate: A-Levels. On this special day, the students dressed in gowns received their diplomas from the Acting Headmaster – Anna Kaniewska.

I am incredibly proud of our this year’s secondary section graduates. The time when they had to prepare themselves was not easy. We had to deal with remote learning, increased sickness incidence among our students and teachers. But once again we have proved that nothing is impossible. That is why we expect fantastic results and we keep our fingers crossed for our students to get accepted for their dream fields of study.

- said the Acting Headmaster – Anna Kaniewska.

The ceremony was also attended by the parents and siblings of the students, as well as the Chairwoman of the Board of the British International School – Aleksandra Suszczewicz and the Chancellor of the University of Lodz – Kamila Szcześniak.

After the ceremony, all the participants were invited to a buffet, and then the IB Diploma programme teachers, together with the graduates, went to lunch to celebrate graduation together. After all, it is sometimes hard to say goodbye to people we like so much.
