Kolekcjoner akcji - sukces Absolwenta VIP UŁ

Tomasz Stamirowski - a VIP Alumnus of the University of Lodz, a managing partner of the Avallon fund, did not want to work in state-run institutions. He got into the restructuring business and now is building a strong financial institution in the heart of Lodz. In an interview with Puls Biznesu, he recalls his studies at the University of Lodz and emphasizes his strong connection with Lodz. As he says, you do not need to have an office in a Warsaw skyscraper to manage a serious financial institution in Poland..

- When I was young, I had strongly humanistic interests, to the point that I took my A-level exams at the 30th High School in Latin, which was a rarity. I was interested in French, so I applied for French studies. I passed the exams but was not accepted. Then I changed my plans, had a gap year, studied maths hard and passed the exam for foreign trade at the University of Lodz.  It was probably the most prestigious university course - recalls Tomasz Stamirowski.

During regular meetings, the invited prominent graduates receive the prestigious title of “VIP Alumni of the University of Lodz” from His or Her Magnificence Rector and, instead of a typical statuette, a ceramic apple symbolising the great fruit borne by the University.
