What inspired you to become a scientist?

For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in people's behaviour and their emotions. I also remember perfectly well how I read with curiosity and fascination books by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. They were full of descriptions of the dilemmas and emotional states of the characters. During my studies, I had the opportunity to work with Professor Bohdan Dudek, who has inspired me to become a researcher.

What impact does your work have on the surrounding reality?

Both the research I conduct and the teaching (including training and workshops that I am in charge of) help people better understand the psychological mechanisms occurring in the work environment. They also enable them to get to know techniques and tools that make it easier and more effective for them to function in various relationships.

How do you understand the term: profession of a scientist?

I definitely associate the profession of a scientist with curiosity about the surrounding world. In my opinion, it is the curiosity that makes you take a better and a closer look at selected areas. At the same time, the profession requires a certain systematicity, reliability and methodological knowledge in order to be able to examine and describe the surrounding reality.
