Bartłomiej Cyganek

Head of HR Central and Eastern Europe, Wienerberger AG

A graduate of the Faculty of Management at the University of Lodz. Has over 18 years of experience in positions related to employee management in international B2B and B2C manufacturing companies (Philips, Amcor and currently Wienerberger). As a HR Director, he participated in many projects, both local in Poland and international (construction and development of production plants, restructuring, creation and implementation of models of management of employees at various levels, etc.).

He specializes in creating HR models supporting the implementation of business goals of companies. He managed operationally the HR function in Amcor Polish plants, successively taking responsibility for the HR function in Central and Eastern Europe and then Western Europe. For several years, he has been managing the HR function at the strategic level of concerns, initially working in Zurich and now in Vienna.
As a HR Director, he was a member of the Amcor HR Leadersip Team for EMEA and was responsible for HR in newly acquired businesses (including South Africa) and the company's central functions such as sales, finance and IT. In parallel with his duties at Amcor, for 5 years he was the President and Vice President of the Board of the Association of Employers of the Lodz Region.

He currently works in Vienna as the Head of HR Central and Eastern Europe at Wienerberger AG, which is the world leader in the production of building materials. Privately is associated with Łódź, which he still visits regularly.
